The hotel is beautiful and situated very close to the Main Square, bars and restaurants. The breakfast buffet was delicious and varied. Rooms are comfortable and spacious and staff very friendly.

The building is beautiful and the location very good. The carpet in the staircase was not properly clean (even historic, old carpets can and should be clean with proper techniques). The room we stayed (that had a wonderful view) had cutted wall paper around the light switch (probably from the replacement of it, but can't you demand people doing this jobs in this kind of hotel do it correctly?). The air condition was not properly cleaned after the panting of the room (still spots of paint that should have been removed/cleaned). The room wall behind and above the air conditioning was not plastered like the rest of the room (so again not a good job in the work and in the inspection after the work). Shower plate with insuficient inclination, water easily runned out of it. The really baroque breakfast room seemed quite exaggerated if compared with the poor buffett offered. Just one kind of bread that was not freshly baked. Poor selection of meats and cheeses. No freshly baked cakes nor croissants. Not at all coherent with that kind of Hotel. Really a pitty. Don't understand what kind or direction or owners have this hotel but clearly could do a much better job with such a nice building in such a wonderful location. It's actually the location that prevents the classification given from being lower.

Kitchen closes or not depending on the clients, I arrived 22:15PM, ordered for some hot food but the kitchen was closed, then while I was at the terrace around 22:45, I witnessed some other clients got some hot food , the management should not accept such situations
