IIlha de Toque Toque Eco Hotel

As a non-brazilian tourist you'll need a car to get places outside of the resort styled hotel. Fernanda - her family, Pedro, and staff were all very friendly and helpful and accommodating to our needs. Vegetarian options are sparse though there are some if you get creative.

We had a really great time staying here. It’s a very romantic location. The views are incredible, the staff is very friendly. What really surprised us was the quality of the food. The breakfast was great and the dishes served by the restaurant were delicious and not expensive. The one constructive suggestion I have is that they could use linen and towels of a better quality to complement the great views and food. :)

An absolutely gorgeous place, one of the prettiest beaches I’ve ever seen in my life. The hotel is surely a gem of a place. Everyone treats you like royalty, very warm, friendly and attentive service. The highway out of São Paulo is very scenic, going through the mountais and small villages. The hotel is on the mountain overlooking the beach, embedded in the Mata Atlântica (Atlantic Woods) and the views are simply breathtaking. The rooms are a bit on the rustic side, no frills as expected but everything works properly and the bed is comfy. The hot tub on the balcony overlooking the beach is definitely the highlight of the room. The hotel premises are gorgeous, great pool, hot tub is super cozy and the restaurant is absolutely delicious! Don’t leave without trying the “Bobó de Camarão” (shrimp in manioc cream). Breakfast was quite good, albeit simple. Tapiocas made to order were super tasty. The beach itself is something out of heaven. The hotel owns a place in the sand where you can sit in the shade and order drinks and appetizers. Their deep fried shrimp is super fresh and the best I’ve ever had while at the beach. Couldn’t get enough of it. Would absolutely stay here again, this is where you live the good life in São Paulo’s north shore.
