Ikaalinen SPA & Resort

We stayed at the Superior Lake Room 713. Room was specious and ok. A bit dated and a bit dusty. It was clean, but here and there not cleaned the dust. Toilet was ok, big shower, but not new. Clean but could need a refresh. Bath towel and toiletries are included. The lake view was amazing! Balcony with chairs are perfect for summer holidays. A lot of activities also for free. Perfect for families or spa weekend. The swimming are was fantastic. Long and fast water slides. A lot of water massage, whirl pool, steam sauna and pool bar. Nice to have a drink in the pool. The La Ramba restaurant was ok. It was not nice to order fries extra to the hamburger. At other restaurants fries are included to the hamburger. But the food was nice.

We stayed at SPA Lofts. The room was renovated, clean, but only 1 big towel for 3 people and no robes. SPA area is perfect place for families- 1 big swimming pool, 1 slide( but really exciting), 2 jacuzzis, 1 swimming pool for toddlers with slides, steam sauna, family sauna, ordinary saunas. There’re some small flaws like corrosion traces on pipes or colour loss of white umbrella ( which is next to the monkey statue), but overall experience was great. The outdoor pool was under construction. Kids playground on the beach is time-worn, shall be renovated. We dined at La Rambla. All food was good, but chicken in salad and prosciutto in pizza were really salty. Service was attentive and welcoming, but the table was not cleaned. Breakfast exceeded my expectations considering that it’s 3 star hotel. I definitely want to visit this place more if there’re will be some discounts. This place is really good in summer( especially, if it’s cold and rainy).

We enjoyed the concert night and stayed in one of the suites with a private whirlpool. It was a great experience. Too bad it was clody night. Will do it again some day when the band is right.
