Ikonik Gran Vía

Affordable and nice and clean hotel in an excellent location. I was traveling with my girlfriend and we chose this hotel for the location and good prices. Staff were kind and professional. The Hotel is on gran via which is a main street so don't expect pin drop silence however, we weren't too bothered by the slight noise in the room. We were close to many local attractions, cafe's, restaurants and bars. Madrid in general is a small and walkable city and we were able to walk to all the tourist attractions from the hotel without many issues. We'd be happy to go back and stay there the next time we're back in Madrid.

I like the hotel rooms they are really fancy! Everything was perfect expect the staff working in the breakfast place. I think they had so many rules! For an example we couldn’t eat in a corner where was a window where we could’ve seen to outside for no reason I don’t get why the table was there in the first place if you can’t eat breakfast on it.

Lets start with the positive: - The location is very central and close to any major point in the city. - The rooms are renovated, everything feels brand new. - clean rooms and very friendly staff members. The negative: - The lobby is very small and doesn’t have any seating areas. There is no other lounge in the hotel. - The breakfast buffet doesn’t have a lot of variety compared to a 4 star hotel. - The prices are very high and not worth it compared to what you get in return Overall, we had a pretty good stay at the hotel and The staff fulfilled every request promptly. Considering the prices for a stay at the hotel, I’m not sure I’d come back
