Ikos Oceania All Inclusive

Ok, firstly and most importantly an amazing hotel, perfect staff, incredible location, food, beach, pools, guests all great people as you’d expect at Ikos. We are loving every minute. One tiny and it is a tiny negative is that the hotel is showing signs of age, little things like the metal grates in certain toilets are rusty, bit of peeling wallpaper in restaurants, little things that don’t really matter but that would benefit from a freshen up. The gym is good, equipment is a bit old and again could do with an update. Negatives aren’t moans. We are privileged to stay at this wonderful Hotel.

The views and service here are superb. If I could give 6 stars for service, instead of 5, then I would. The staff are wonderful, truly. So friendly, welcoming, and helpful. The food is to die for, of the highest quality, and so varied in flavours and options.

What everyone says about the service is true! It's out of this world... The staff really serve from the heart and look like they truly enjoy the work they do. This was our first stay at an ikos resort and it's what was exceptional about it. Everyone speaks English very well and communicated politely and professionally. The econcierge team is marvelous... I really took advantage of that! Alex you and your team are doing a great job. Then there is Stella, the angel that keeps popping up around the resort. She is everywhere at once and deserves special recognition for her stellar attitude and for helping me with my difficult dietary restrictions! Thank you for being so accommodating and making my dining journey worthwhile. I really enjoyedl waking up to Pilates on the yoga deck overlooking the sea with the wonderful Nicole. Your teaching style is so attentive and caring and you really ensure everyone is doing the exercises correctly. Your cheerful and energetic personality was a real pleasure to have every day. There are so many names I could mention.. They list goes on. All the staff by the family pool who just don't stop! We appreciate you! The dining experience is really special but I wanna point out that with the exception of the buffet restaurant, the other restaurants don't have air conditioning and it can be too warm and uncomfortable to sit outside for early dinner. so try to avoid booking your dinners below 7:30pm The resort is beautiful, and the sea is wonderful to swim in. However with the beautiful nature come the annoying insects! If you can't tolerate bees over your food, getting bit by mosquitos daily, and ants on your patio then this resort is not for you! It's really an issue and we had to constantly spray ourselves to avoid being bitten. The kind of mosquito bites are itchy and hot and last all week! Luckily the resort has some good spray but yeah it got annoying and the resort does take some precautions with citronella candles but not enough. Overall we had a lovely stay but I would say ikos resort style is more suited for families with younger kids. My older kids weren't so well entertained as they would be in some other so inclusive resorts, especially that the way the resort is laid out doesn't encourage kids to mingle and get to know each other. If you wanna spend time with your kids and they wanna spend time with you, then this is a good option. If you prefer to have lots of activity and entertainment options, then you may find this resort somewhat quiet and boring.
