Our stay at Il Casale della Regin was nothing short of extraordinary. We called just 4 hours before our arrival and were greeted by the owner, a remarkably kind 25-year-old gentleman who opened the hotel exclusively for us and even prepared a delicious dinner that evening. This level of hospitality was unparalleled, and we were truly touched by his dedication. The owner's wine, made from his own vineyard, was a delightful surprise. We highly recommend trying it; it added an extra layer of charm to our stay. Il Casale della Regin exceeded all expectations, and we can't speak highly enough of this gem. Beautiful farmhouse renovated and updated to serve as a hotel and restaurant. Panoramic terrace overlooking the historic center of Arpino. Peaceful and quiet. Truly excellent cuisine, a happy medium between traditional dishes and the chef's own creations. There are also several seafood dishes. Fair prices, a touch higher than the local average, around €40-50 (for a full meal, from appetizer to dessert), amply justified for the quality.

Arrive at 4:00pm. Room was not ready. We were given a different room with no airconditioning. The next day we were given a different room with no airconditioning and no wifi. You can't control the room temperature. They do and the unit never gives off cool air. Night temperature was over 88 degrees. Impossible to sleep. The WiFi was non existent. The owner said it worked on their phone. But it didn't work on our 3 phones and our 2 computers. One other guest I met had similar problems. The room 2 rooms we stayed in had no view as they claimed. One had a stone wall view, the other had a nearby house. The shower was so small you couldn't turn around and no place to put your soap and shampoo. They do not offer a free breakfast and there is no refrigerator to keep a bottle of water cold. Parking was on the premises and car was safe. If you stay over the weekend be aware that this place hosts wedding parties or weekend parties. There was music blasting until 2:00am on the Sunday we stayed. The best thing about this place is the day you leave. Stay away. It could be a gem, but the owners have no clue how to manage it. Too bad!
