Everything went smoothly with our check in. We arrived early so our room wasn't ready but there's a nice resting area to hide from the heat and you can leave your luggage at check in before the room is ready to go grab coffee or food at local places. There's also a small supermarket right on the same street to get cold drinks and things. Breakfast buffet was unavailable but in room breakfast was offered instead which was a lovely addition to our trip. There was quite a few options to choose from but we chose Italian and English breakfast. The interior was amazing our room had a really high ceiling with a window and adjustable blinds/curtains as well as AC. High recommend!

Lovely boutique hotel that is convenient to get to city center (15 mins walk to piazza Maggiore). Grateful for the tiny old school lift to bring my bags to the “first floor” - one floor up. There’s breakfast every morn but we are too full to try. Remember to book your check in time before hand as the doors are locked. Some of the receptionists don’t speak fluent English but you can mostly communicate and get your point across. Love the spacious room. There are schools around so weekdays it is very noisy around 7:30am in the morning. It bothered me but not my husband. The bathroom is wide but has no bathtub. I like the heated towel rod. Nice sink too. Great use of furniture space. A bit dark in the room. Appreciated the plugs and side tables by the bed. I was surprised there is no laundry service though. Cute place overall, but no gym or pool. More like a family bed and breakfast

we had a cellar room without window or fresh air!! in the bathroom the same! Even if we did not book such a room we got it ... +++ What a great entrance area and I just love this unique design. We did just a last minute booking - nevertheless the price was great! Also the breakfast is really recommendable (but please make the eggs hot...) - the crossaints, cafe (...) just great! Especially the nice collegues at the reception are so friendly - you really feel welcome. The hotel room is clean and the hotel itself is located really in the center, but just as many minutes away so that it's not that crowded. --- But now we really have to say as the hotel was not fully booked the fact that we just got a room without any window and the AC was not working prperly/enough is not acceptable. This room was like a cellar room and not a hotel room! The bathtoom also did not have window or anything. If we knew that we would get such a room we would defenitely not have chosen this hotel!
