Il Fonticolo Room & Breakfast

We got the Fellini room for a 2 night stay. The apartment is clean and large and Alessio was great to communicate with. We left our luggage for a few hours after checking out without any issues. The location is great as it's near the town center. The pizza place 360 across was surprisingly tasty and great value. Overall a good stay in Modena.

Good location, comfortable bedroom. Not suitable for more than 2 people. Be careful to double check the parking permit they give you to enter with your car in the centre of Modena.

At arrival, AC did not work. We waited for the repair for more than half an hour and then changed the room but that room was not cleaned well enough. We had to ask for further cleaning the next day. The coffee machine did not work until we realized that the disposal compartment was full of previous customers' used capsules. The street is noisy early in the morning and there is a continuously dripping fountain in front, I thought it was raining all night. Breakfast was all carbs, the only trace of protein without added sugar was the milk. The lady in the reception was very nice and had good intention but unfortunately that does not make you physically comfortable. The decoration of the rooms are very interesting though...
