Il Gabellota Resort

We stayed for three nights at Il Gabellota, an expertly renovated Trulli complex, that was originally an old Apulian farmhouse with outbuildings. We so much enjoyed the tranquility of walking between the Trulli's among lovingly cared-for roses, trees and (pomegranate)shrubs, the sunsets, the beautiful swimming pool, our hot tub, the extensive breakfast and the kindness and helpfulness of the always available staff. After a visit to interesting but quite touristy-busy Alberobello, returning to Il Gabellota at the end of the day was a joy

What a wonderful place. The perfect place to rest and get away from everything. The location is ideal, the staff is very friendly, breakfast is included and everything is delicious! They have a pool of excellent size and a jacuzzi. It is super quiet at any time, they have a playground for children and they were ready with the crib for my baby. Everything is very clean and I would love to return to this place with just my partner. Everything was incredible, the decoration, the atmosphere, the staff, everything was perfect!

Edge of town location, collection of rooms scattered amongst an olive orchard. Small pool. Simple living, 10 mins to the back of the Unesco area of Alberobello but quiter/safer as out of town. Staff are very helpful. Facility needs a refresh. Quiet for couples. Basic facilities. Some rooms have jacuzzi in addition. Rooms adequate but need updating and bathrooms had a few age issues. Nice for a stop off for a few nights but basic.
