Il Mulino di Scauri

We had a wonderful time at Il Mulino di Scauri – the accommodation is located in one of the most beautiful parts of the island, with stunning sea views (sunsets)from the breakfast terrace, the pool, and our apartment. Giusy and Franca are incredibly friendly and helpful hosts who take great care of their guests. The continental breakfast was excellent, with a lovely selection of local products and a charming service offering freshly made coffee, cappuccino, and more. Our two-room apartment was bright, welcoming, and practically furnished, with a separate bedroom and a terrace shared with other guests. The living kitchen offered a pleasant view of the breakfast terrace. The well-maintained pool with sun loungers is available for all guests to enjoy. We felt completely at home and will come back again soon!

We had a great time, the place was well-maintained and managed by the owners, who were always kind and helpful. The dammusi were comfortable and spacious. Breakfast was good.

In Pantelleria you don't go to a hotel. I'm sure of it, but if you want to immerse yourself in the magic and atmosphere of this beautiful island, staying in a Dammusi is a must. The Scauri mill is an example. An evocative place surrounded by vegetation. There won't be the comforts of a 5-star hotel, more spartan and essential, but managed with passion and love. Each room is equipped with a kitchenette. Rooms and bathrooms are spacious and furnished with local taste. Breakfast is served in the old mill, a spectacle. All the staff are friendly, helpful and very kind. Recommended.
