AMAZING!!!! We were here for 4 days and had the best time golfing & eating at the restraunt everyday. The chef is amazing!!! And the wait staff!! We were here at the very end of the season but still felt welcomed and loved. We recommend the wine, tiramisu, ravioli and penne! English speaking too! Special shoutout to Annamaria❤️!

This post relates to the restaurant poolside. Undoubtedly, a very pretty and romantic setting for a restaurant. Beauty of the setting though did not match the quality of the meal, which was disappointing. Poor meal: chips lukewarm, bitter taste from tomato pizza sauce and large (!) salad for 8 euro was a ripoff (plate size and depth shown in photo). Admittedly, the schiaccia was good! Staff were courteous.

I have a non-refundable booking at Il Palagone Hotel & Golf Resort for September 2025 for 5 nights for ~1400 euros. Due to deeply personal and unforeseen circumstances, my partner reached out over four months in advance to request a cancellation. We explained that the trip was no longer possible because the couple we were meant to travel with are currently going through a divorce. Despite the early notice and the nature of the situation, the hotel declined to offer any flexibility or understanding, insisting on retaining 100% of the payment. After speaking with Booking.com, we were informed that the decision was entirely up to the hotel—yet there was no willingness to help or even discuss any alternatives, even though there is still ample time for the room to be rebooked. While I understand that policies exist, I was disappointed by the complete lack of compassion in how this was handled. Given the emotional and financial toll, a little empathy would have gone a long way. I cannot recommend this hotel based on their response during a difficult time.
