Il Poggio di Teo

My husband and I loved our stay at Il Poggio Di Teo. Wonderful staff including Alessia and Antoniella who were warm and helpful, with advice or anything we wanted eg we felt like some afternoon tea and cakes and Antoniella provided it to us. Sarah gave outstanding massages and we enjoyed their little spa. The chefs Nutsarello and the other chef were both excellent and we particular enjoyed the Valentine’s Day degustation menu. It’s well located, 5 mins drive from Manciano village and yet in the very quiet countryside. Rooms are basic, but clean. We had the apartment with a basic kitchen, so we could cook and try out some local ingredients ourselves.

The best Italian food ever, amazing service, and the views at the hotel are breath taking. I can not recommend this hotel enough. The pasta is handmade, the produce is fresh! If you stay here you absolutely must have dinner in the restaurant. The service was so great. I accidentally booked my trip for the wrong day, the host Alexa helped me change the day. She was tentative to us the entire stay. Manuel was a great server during dinner!

Il Poggio di Teo is an absolute gem - I cannot recommend it enough. We were there for 2 nights and it was 100% relax. Our room (olivo) was clean, cosy and tastefully decorated. The surroundings are so beautiful, full of flowers, trees and love! The food was out of this world with the dishes full of local produce including what is produced by Il Poggio di Teo. The staff there are incredibly helpful, caring and take pride in everything that they have created there. The group of happy cats (Nicolas is the best) and chickens are wonderful as well. If you want a place to relax, enjoy nature and amazing food, let this place spoil you 😊
