Terrible experience… do yourself a favour and stay away! Arrival was chaotic and stressful. I’ve travelled across Sardinia many times and never encountered such an unprofessional welcome. The staff were curt, unapproachable, and showed zero willingness to help. Completely opposite to the warm Italian hospitality one would expect. There’s no front desk, no real assistance, and housekeeping only happens if you request it by a strict deadline, not exactly ideal when you’re trying to relax. The room itself? Neglected. There were obvious signs it hadn’t been properly cleaned: sandy floors, hair, and leftover dust from whoever was there before. On top of that, the place is extremely noisy at night due to a total lack of insulation…don’t count on getting any rest. Make no mistake: this is not a hotel. It’s a run-down flat in the old centre - convenient location, yes, but that’s where the positives end. It’s marketed online as a boutique hotel, which is utterly misleading. In reality, it’s a low-grade B&B with none of the charm, comfort or professionalism the name suggests. “Maison du charme”? Give me a break. To make matters worse, when I voiced my concerns, I received rude and inappropriate messages from the hosts. And here’s something that should raise eyebrows: strangely, almost all the glowing reviews come from people with local-sounding names. Not a single one from international travellers. It feels staged, like a carefully curated scam. Do not hand over your credit card info. We paid upfront and were left bitterly disappointed. Avoid this place at all costs. You’ve been warned.

DO NOT BOOK IN THIS PLACE. The owner or the person who answers is SUPER rude to answer, he does not have the slightest idea that it is attention and customer service. He charged me for things I did NOT authorize and after I wrote to him and after him being super impolite thankfully he gave me back my money. He canceled the reservation having already paid for three nights, and he told me that it was not welcome for being "problematic" (because I wanted my money back to things that DO NOT authorize the charge) he left my mother and me on the street because we were not welcome having to pay for a new reservation in another hotel. Spending twice as much. Unfortunately I didn't read the reviews before but I see that bad behavior and attention are their badge. Fortunately I took several tours and I TOOK CARE of showing the chats so that they would never recommend that hotel in their life.

DO NOT BOOK – SCAMMER OWNER AND ZERO ACCESS! Absolutely awful experience. Do yourself a favor and DO NOT BOOK THIS PLACE. The owner is a scammer who does not respond to messages, calls, or emails, and refused to give us access to the property despite a confirmed reservation. We were left stranded with nowhere to stay. This is not just poor service — it’s a deliberate scam. Avoid at all costs unless you want to lose your money and ruin your trip. Shameful behavior and complete disrespect for guests.
