IL Tornabuoni The Unbound Collection by Hyatt

Had an amazing two night stay here at the end of April 2025. They were able to accommodate me and my wife after a disastrous hotel check in experience earlier that day. After a quick look online, we decided to walk into this hotel to see if they were able to accommodate, and thank goodness they were. The check in staff were amazing, there's always a front door gentlement greeting you hello and goodbye. I believe the front desk person who accepted our reservation granted us free credits to take advantage of the breakfast, which was very kind of him. We reserved a room with a king sized bed, while the room was on the smaller side, the room service was amazing. It felt like every time we left and returned the room was attended to by the hotel staff. 5/5 in terms of cleanliness. The bathroom and everything provided is great. Great views from the room. The food options were great as well. Staff working in the restaurant were amazing. Location is almost perfect, just minutes walking away from the various designers shops and various eateries. In the other direction, there's the bridge with the river as well. While hotel is on the pricier side, I would definitely return at some point.

I was a little nervous when I saw the 4.4 / 5 on Google but not sure how anybody could give this less than 5 / 5. Great staff, elevators were quick, room service prices were reasonable for breakfast, they were generous with water in the summer, air conditioning was incredible in the summer, perfect location amidst everything yet feeling like a retreat. Doormen were nice and helpful (I believe his name was Jude). Great place, can’t wait to return.

We stayed at Il Tornabuoni Hotel for 3 nights and honestly, it couldn’t have been better. The location is absolutely perfect right in the heart of Florence, which made it super easy to explore the city on foot. The hospitality throughout our stay was top-notch. Everyone was so welcoming and helpful, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The room was beautifully designed, very comfortable, and had all the little touches that make a stay feel special. There’s truly nothing I would change or add, everything was just right. If you’re heading to Florence and want a mix of luxury, convenience, and warm service, this is the place.
