A long way from noisy and great value for money. What some people expect for their money is beyond me! It IS a walk away from the beach - about 15 minutes with a 5 year old, less than 10 for a grown up. Beach is great. As for the camp, the pitches with private kitchen/bathroom are brilliant (I've never had a Smeg brand hob in a camping site before) and plenty big enough. There isn't a bit of litter or a full litter bin anywhere. The swimming pools are clean and large with plenty of loungers and umbrellas. The children's club activities were brilliant for our 5 year old and very much approved of by her. The evening entertainment was good fun for everyone as were the daytime activities for everyone- and all this thanks to the tireless animation staff - hard working doesn't come close to it. Starting work at 0900 and finishing after midnight when the disco ended they knew us by name and did everything possible to make our stay better. I've seen far far worse in 'proper' hotel resorts. Well done guys and girls - you made it really special. The restaurant staff were friendly and helpful and the food well priced - certainly up to restaurant quality too. The small shop was small and a bit overpriced, as was the cafe takeaway prices but the management never minded you bringing your own food or drinks into the cafe or pool areas - most families brought packed snacks in fact. The management staff couldn't do enough to help whenever we asked for it, immediately giving us another kitchen when our fridge failed to cool sufficiently quickly, helping our girl with ice packs when she had a little fall and allowing us - very happily - to leave the pitch later than 10am and continue to use the facilities for the rest of the day. The site is bordered by a relatively busy single track rail line, but it really wasn't noisy at all - it never woke us or kept us up at all. This was out first visit - purely on the spur of the moment - and we consider ourselves incredibly lucky that we found it. We have already booked a bungalow for next summer. Amazing.

Great location, as a very easy cycle to the beach. Accommodation was rustic, spacious and worked well because of air conditioning at such a hot time of year end of jul). Staff are very friendly. There is entertainment every night at the pool area until about 11pm. It's not our thing but it was all good fun and good natured, so it did not disturb us, even tho we were so close to the pool. The pool is fantastic and the more conservative UK people do not need to wear speedo's or caps!🤣👍 The area is great for restaurants and bars. All in all we would highly recommend and go back.

Excellent campsite, lovely staff. The sea is a 10 min walk away (15 with a child) but no-one can be directly on the beach here because there are pine trees in the dunes behind the beach all along the coast, and they are protected (and rightly so!). Lovely swimming pools for the children, quite and chilled atmosphere. Tip: get a gazebo if you're going to be in a tent.
