We stayed in the Fanny Parkes Room hands down the best view in the entire property. Waking up to that quiet, sweeping valley was pure magic. The room itself oozes old-world charm, with every corner thoughtfully preserved and styled. But what truly makes Ilbert Manor stand out is the people. The team here genuinely takes care of you. From the moment we arrived, every staff member (including Ayush, Lokesh and everyone else) made us feel like family. Warm, responsive, always ready to help whether it was room service, hi-tea, or just casual conversations that made us smile. The food was genuinely quite good although the menu is limited, whatever is served is done with such care and attention. The cooks ensure that every single dish is fresh and perfectly made, and that warmth shows in every bite. Special shoutout to the team that helps you get your car in and out since the road from Mall Road to the property is downhill and narrow, it can be tricky, but they take it on themselves and do it with such grace that you don’t have to worry at all. That kind of care is rare. We’d come back in a heartbeat and this is a place that stays with you. Thank you, Ilbert Manor. ✨
If you’re looking for a peaceful stay, with heritage feels, clean and neat rooms, decent food, friendly and courteous staff— this is the place to stay. The location is a little off, but the staff is on their toes and there’s a shuttle to pick and drop you whenever you need it. The only thing to note is that there are monkeys around the place, if you’re going with your children, you’ll have to be a little attentive that way. Ps— some reviews on google about the staff and bad washrooms are misleading. If you’re reading this review, you can blindly trust me and book this place.
We had a pleasant stay at Ilbert Manor. Ground floor rooms are very comfortable and nicely done. It's a heritage property and very well maintained. Staff is very polite and courteous. Food is very tasty. Although property is just 150mtrs from Mall road but it is very silent and calming. Looking forward to coming again soon
