Imlauer Hotel Pitter Salzburg

We had a double room which was far better than I expected. They were all clean and updated. It had two separate bedrooms. One had a large closet the other a nice desk. They opened into the room's foyer with another nice closet and a separate toilet and sink room and opposite the hall had a large walk in shower and sink. The location was wonderful, easy access to all the old town sites. 10 minute walk to the train station with luggage and little kids. Daily room service and every one I came across who worked there was very nice and greeted you. The Pitter Cellar downstairs was a nice quiet dining location, more Austrian inspired. The sky lounge had incredible views and a very nice culinary menu. Service there was a little off. We had little kids and they kept forgetting things which prolonged our dinner well past 9. The breakfast buffet was incredible. Overall, I would definitely stay here again and loved all Salzburg had to offer us.

Very nice city hotel, impeccably clean, lots of nice touches like chocolates in room etc. Location was really good and there is a beautiful view from rooftop at breakfast. We had a small problem with our bill on departure but this was quickly rectified. Would recommend for families or business trip.

Exceptional staff. Our rooms were as requested, the only ones in our four hotels during a two week vacation. The rooms were clean, food was good, service excellent and old town was within walking distance. Walking distance was very important as my grandson has mobility issues and I am no spring chicken!
