Update - hotel refunded the charge. Fixing the rank to 5. — This was supposed to be a 5-star review. The hotel is truly great — beautiful, clean, with stylish design and high-quality facilities. Our suite was spacious, had a nice balcony, and everything inside was well thought out. The spa areas are excellent, and the multiple restaurants on site offered great food and atmosphere. Most of the staff were professional and warm. But the experience was completely ruined at checkout. The same woman who checked us in (and spoke very limited English) also handled our checkout — and surprised us with a €120 charge for early check-in. At check-in, she said nothing about this fee. In 5-star hotels, early check-in — especially just two hours early — is usually complimentary or clearly discussed upfront. This wasn’t. Had we known, we would’ve simply waited and had lunch, which we ended up doing anyway. I even filmed great aerial footage with my drone during the stay, with staff approval, and planned to gift it to the hotel. But after this unpleasant ending, I honestly don’t feel like sharing anything except for the frustration anymore. A wonderful stay turned sour in the final 5 minutes. That’s not how a luxury experience should end.

An absolute gem of a place, magical, beautiful and sublime. From the Reception team right through to the Golf team, everything runs with precise timings. Not only is this hotel in a beautiful location, it sits nicely overlooking the beautiful valley and surrounding mountains. The team highly motivated, informative and dedicated to their occupation. Some outstanding team members was Alan and Sabine in the Golf shop, who’s helpful and Caring nature shone through with regards my experience. Another shining light was Philip Restaurant supervisor-and Food and beverage manager, who seemed to be everywhere and had a real passion for his duties. 10 out of 10, this is a real and beautiful hotel experience, and we’re very much looking forward to returning. The wellness area was excellent, and the food was fresh and delicious. I loved the hotel's sustainable approach — they keep their own bees and chickens, grow vegetables, and even bottle their own spring water. Nestled in stunning natural surroundings, it’s an ideal place to relax and recharge.
