Absolutely satisfied with my stay during my visiting Thessaloniki. The hotel is very central in the middle of the city center and every spot can be reached my foot or the new Metro. The rooms are very clean, modern and spacious and enough for the purpose of my stay. The breakfast has everything you wish for. The staff is friend and is very helpful. Overall a great experience in a nice, modern styled hotel in the middle of a nice city.
Mixed experience – good but with flaws At first glance, the hotel seems promising. However, during check-in, the receptionist abruptly corrected me for giving my first name instead of my last name, which felt unnecessary. The room itself was comfortable, but at night, a blinking light from outside the window kept disturbing my sleep—blackout curtains are a must. Also, I was surprised that in-room coffee wasn’t complimentary and had to be paid for at the reception. Overall, decent stay, but these small issues affected the experience.
Disappointing Experience Overall Unfortunately, our stay left much to be desired. 1. Room Comfort: The room itself was acceptable, but the air conditioning system was poorly designed. You can only adjust the temperature—not the fan speed—and the unit is positioned right next to the bed, blowing cold air directly at you. It made it impossible to sleep comfortably unless it was turned off, which meant dealing with an uncomfortably warm room. 2. Noise Issues: The soundproofing was virtually nonexistent. We were repeatedly disturbed throughout the night by slamming doors and noise from other rooms on the same floor. 3. Lack of Basic Amenities: There was no kettle provided in the room, which was an inconvenience. 4. Elevator Frustrations: The main elevator is extremely slow and only fits two people. There is a larger one, but oddly, it’s only accessible from an upper floor—not the reception level—making it impractical, especially with luggage. 5. Breakfast Disappointment: Breakfast was the biggest letdown. The selection was limited, and service was poorly managed. On the first morning, I had to wait over 10 minutes for scrambled eggs. On the second morning, we arrived at 10:00 AM (with breakfast officially running until 10:30 AM), only to find that pancakes were already gone. When we asked about them at 10:15, we were told: “Sorry, service is over.” If certain items are discontinued before breakfast officially ends, this should be clearly communicated. Very frustrating and poorly handled. 6. Parking: There is no on-site parking. Guests must use a nearby paid facility at a steep rate of €25 per night. 7. Positives: The hotel room was very clean (10/10 for cleanliness), and the location is conveniently close to the city center. The receptionist is a nice person. Will add the same review to booking, when it unlocks this function because we booked through booking.
