August 2025 Beautiful beautiful location. We like Patong for the hustle and bustle and have been back in Patong for more than 15x. Four of the latest visits have been with Impiana Patong because it is the resort with the longest seafront in Patong. The wind is constantly strong and the view as we lie in the deck chairs is stunning especially the sunset. We booked 3 rooms for five adults. One beachfront and two deluxe. Personally, I found the deluxe room more appealing as the size is bigger. The sea view room was actually more of a swimming-pool-and-hedge view. Rooms are adequate and above average but not luxurious. The plumbing is probably old as my shower was dripping water even after turning it off. My beachfront room had showers in a bathtub. I dislike it as it is slippery and not safe for the older folks. Breakfast is wonderful as it’s by the beach. Variety is very good. Taste is OK. Huge variety of coffee/tea/chocolate is included. There is a really annoying club next door called Bartracuda - Noise pollution. Luckily we can’t hear the noise once the bedroom doors were closed. It’s supposed to be music but I hear techno music with not much tune.

Location great but noisy. Front line reception staff very unfriendly and definitely need training on customer service. Staff working at the dinning hall and pool extremely friendly and very helpful. Resort needs revamping. Pool tiles are falling off and electric wiring in pool is lose. This was reported but nothing was done. Towels are old and stained. For a four star hotel this is disappointing.

The hotel’s location is great and convenient for dining and nightlife. However, the service is quite poor, which reflects the concerns raised in other reviews I initially dismissed. I now fully understand their frustrations. I’m baffled by the repeated questions about room cleaning when I specifically requested beach towels. On my second night, I asked for towels, and the staff member came but kept talking unnecessarily. I had placed a "Do Not Disturb" sign on the door at night to avoid interruptions while sleeping, but that didn’t mean I placed it there to skip cleaning in the afternoon. They had already cleaned our room when my partner was there. Since I took the beach towels outside for sunbathing, I didn’t expect them to change the towels during that cleaning. On the third night, I went to the reception to request beach towels again, but they continued to ask about room cleaning. They insisted that the towels should have been changed during the cleaning. I explained that they had cleaned the room while I had the towels outside in the afternoon. This situation was both frustrating and confusing. If they had changed the towels, shouldn’t I be able to request another set? Is there a limit on how many sets I can receive each day? This wasn’t mentioned in the hotel booking, leaving me quite puzzled. Additionally, there were no plug sockets near the bed, which made it inconvenient to charge our phones while using them in bed. Furthermore, the sound insulation was very poor; we could hear everything from the neighboring rooms, which disrupted our stay.
