Really good experience! It is hard to find a host so dedicated and enthusiastic towards us. And he speaks good English too! so no language barriers here.The house is an amazing ancient Japanese house built around 70 years ago. It is so suitable for such a trip to relax in the onsen town of Beppu!
It is a rare opportunity to stay at such an amazing property if you are an art lover or have a taste to appreciate historical artifacts of Japan while staying right in the center of spa capital of the world, "Beppu". The bus stop to every destination you desire around the area is right around the corner and a kind English speaking host will be assisting you whenever you need. You are the luckiest if you get to stay at this place. Definitely a hidden gem.
Jun is so personable and knows Beppu and his English is way better than my Japanese 🤣! Ask for his recommendations and he won’t steer u wrong! Short walk to the Bus/Train so very user friendly. Oh and it’s a beautiful WWII built home that u will love!
