Beautiful, clean guest house, location superb. All was too love. Accomodation perfect, clean and luxurious. We were welcomed by our host, Roland, friendly and service was exceptional. We looking forward to the next visit. Nature so beautiful on The Island. Bicycle ride, kayak was enjoyed in this beautiful gem in Sedgefield. Highly recommend.

Our stay at In Toto Retreat - Garden Route was absolutely delightful! Tucked away on the Island in Sedgefield, this guesthouse is a haven of comfort and natural beauty. The hosts greeted us with such warmth, instantly making us feel at home. Our room was stunning—immaculate, stylishly designed, and complete with cozy touches and breathtaking views of the Swartvlei Lagoon. Waking up to the tranquil lake and birdsong was pure bliss. Breakfast was a highlight, with fresh, delicious options like fluffy pancakes and local fruits, all tailored to our tastes. We loved the free bikes, which made exploring a breeze. It was just a short bike ride to the Sedgefield Brewery, where we grabbed a refreshing craft beer and a stamp for our Beer Passport—a fun touch for our adventure! The heated pool was perfect for relaxing after a day out, and the location couldn’t be better, just a stroll from the lively Wild Oats Market and close to beautiful beaches like Myoli and Cola. The hosts shared fantastic local tips that elevated our Garden Route experience. In Toto Retreat is a true gem for anyone craving a peaceful getaway with exceptional hospitality. We’re already planning our return!

In Toto is the perfect place to relax and unwind or go on numerous adventures as well as experiencing small town living. Your stay will be taylor-made to your specific needs. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable. The beaches are close by and the lagoon is on its doorstep - stand up paddle, swimming, safe jogging and walking are all easily accessible. Fantastic markets are within walking distance. Other highlights include climbing up Gerickes Point to see the amazing views! The breakfast is just delicious, tantalizing your taste buds. In Toto is perfect for families, couples, solo and friends....a place to reconnect with your loved ones, take on a slower pace, appreciate beautiful nature and rediscover joy in the small things.
