Charming traditional hotel 🏨 Yes, this hotel has seen better days, it's undoubtedly old, however, it's not lost its luster. The hotel is centraly located, only 5 min. walk from the thermal baths. The rooms and toilets are old, but they were built to last. The breakfast is superb, both the food and the room. Freshly squeezed orange juice is available on demand. I wish I had stayed longer. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Clean and basic hotel room, staff tried to communicate but my Portuguese and their English was on par with each other. We did muggle through, stayed only one night and as we were leaving before breakfast they made us a bag each with loads of food in it. It is in a beautiful setting, a quiet place .

We’ve stayed at the hotel during a weekend with a group of friends. Hotel is beautiful from the outside and close to the termal facilities, just in front of a beautiful river. Overall service is good, staff is very nice, though short for the amount of people. For perspective, we had to wait 20 minutes to checkout and there was a large queue of guests waiting to do so as there was only one person in the front desk. Breakfast is ok, but trailing other four-star hotels we’ve been to. More relevant is the fact that rooms seem to be dated, though clean. Major refurbishment is needed, as it sits the hotel is much closer to a three-star than to a four-star hotel… Overall, hotel is good value for money, but make sure you don’t go with high expectations.
