Incekum West Hotel

Returning here after a pretty hectic year was a pure pleasure. The sea is as glorious as ever; the garden and the beach are both well-loved and well-tended to (the bookshelf outside is a lovely addition to the lounge area); and the music is, yet again, an absolute joy (with some startling throwbacks during the day, though. PIMP by 50 cent? Jay z and Beyonce's Bonnie and clyde? In the year of our lord 2025? As if Kendrick Lamar didn't just grace the earth with his comeback. But I digress.) Animation efforts in general are much more lively this time around, which is not always a good thing, especially in the evenings, particularly when the main entertainment area was moved from the amphitheatre to the beach bar, i.e. in the earshot of the entire hotel. But! I salute Elif and the boundless enthusiasm and unwavering positivity she radiates. Truly a ray of sunshine of a person. The food was less varied than last year's but lovely nonetheless; notably the cold appetizers, grilled fish, shawarmas and freshly made pide breads were just scrumptious. Although I find the disappearance of herbal and green teas from the main restaurant a bit baffling. The cleaning crew's work was painstaking and diligent, not to mention the fact that the laborers themselves were extraordinarily warm-hearted. But the same can be easily said about all the staff members. All of them were equally welcoming and courteous. The downsides, luckily for me, weren't deal breakers but still. 1) The regrettable placement of the conditioner in the rooms on the sixth floor (right above the bedhead), which apparently caused all my neighbours to get sick (judging by all the coughing and sneezing). 2) The amount of people drinking heavily around the clock was astonishing. This obviously wasn't the hotel's fault and wouldn't have been that big of a deal if it hadn't been for the fact that the perimeter and the restaurant are simply not spacious enough to fit all the guests comfortably. Eventually, like it or not, you would have to endure very drunk, very loud, very antsy and very bellicose men getting even more drunk and aggressive in your immediate vicinity. Which, let's be fair, is not exactly conducive to relaxation. But all in all, I'm glad to have been back. It's a quaint and serene place, perfect for escaping the ever-present hustle and bustle of the city.

Enjoyed our stay at Incekum West. The hotel was nice and staff helpful. The animation team and activities were also good fun. The only drawback was the limited selection of food at meal times. The food was tasty but lacked variety on some days. Only other drawback was limited levels of spoken English from staff, this is due to only receiving 1-2 sets of English speaking visitors per year, with most the guests being German or Russian. I would probably stay here again as an affordable option.

Perfect location We reserved hotel as all inclusive with open buffet but they gave us a poor plate of food for dinner and breakfast also. The Hotel staffs was so friendly .. But the hotel manager and owner is crazy ...because they did not prepare anything for the staff to open the buffet. The funny thing is : even they did not have ice for bar and lemon and.... for restaurant.. if you want to go to heaven with hell services you can choose this hotel. I think the hotel owner is stupid and stingy. Which does not provide good service with this hotel and location. We reserved fir 2 days but we canceled 2nd day and ran to another hotel.
