Winter stop over, cheap powered sites in the off season, we stayed 2 nights on our way north, the caravan sites are tight, but not impossible to get into. The caravan sites are close to the children’s playground which was super fun for the little ones, heated pool, spas and splash park, the water slides weren’t operational during our stay, but hey it’s winter! Multiple activities, playgrounds, pools and spas for all ages.

This is an ultra budget caravan park/cabin resort. Nothing flash, nothing special. Good for the kids with the play ground down the bottom and the water park. We booked the 6 person cabin. 1 adult 2 kids. There was an issue when we got there as the booking online default is 2 adults. The receptionist, Robyn, had an issue and had to charge me a pretty steep extra fee because it was 2 kids rather than 2 adults. Ended up making this a rip off and not a good experience. 6 person cabin. Give me a break. The room wouldn’t even fit 6 people as advertised.

Having been travelling for 3 months this was a lovely park with friendly staff and great for kids but the amenities were the worst I've seen regarding cleanliness! The bins were constantly overflowing with paper towels, often no toilet paper, the sanitary bins were overflowing, the floor was always wet and dirty and water was dripping from the mouldy ceiling with condensation (no ventilation) when showering! There is a sign outside to mop after your shower, well hard to do that with no mop! I saw a young cleaner who said they clean once a day and said the mens is worse which my husband agreed with! Well in school holidays with 3 or 4 toilets and showers once a day is certainly not enough! The adult spa room looked great so stepping into the water I couldn't work out what to press for bubbles so rang reception who advised they don't work due to rain maybe upsetting it and a plumber was coming? A sign on the door would have been handy! In the camp kitchen the drinks and nibbles machine was totally empty! The electric car station was out of order. If your site is close to the road that's good for bins but if over other side no bins unless you walk to the road or go to camp kitchen! I'm not normally one to complain but these amenities really were a health hazard! Lucky nobody has slipped over!
