Inn at Lake Joseph

Beautiful B &B in Sullivan County. Well kept grounds. Pool and hiking trails. Room was clean, air conditioned, and large with a balcony. Staff are very friendly and accommodating. Beautiful and pristine lake with 4 row boats. Great for fishing (bring your trolling motor and battery). Plenty of bass, pickerel and sunnies. Nearby attractions and food.

Great place for a getaway in the woods. House and grounds are spacious and beautiful. Innkeeper was super sweet and made a delicious breakfast - scrambled eggs one day and pancakes the next. The coffee was brewed perfectly with smooth taste and cream that made it more like a dessert than a caffeinated beverage. Taking out one of their rowboats on Lake Joseph was a highlight. Lots of birds to watch, taking off and landing on the lake. The house is old and has lots of character. I didn’t even mind being visited by one of the resident ghosts. If you’re looking for the classic B&B experience, this is it!

What a beautiful place to stay and relax with the family! I loved how cozy and peaceful it felt throughout our stay. The staff were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to provide exceptional service. Breakfast felt like a tea party—there were so many options, and everything was presented so delicately. My family and I especially enjoyed the fire pit—it was a perfect spot to chill and the family to all be together. The lake, just a short walk from the inn, was absolutely stunning. What more could you ask for? This place was truly a blessing to stay at, and I’d love to go back again!
