First class experience all around. Zero complaints. The valet, front desk, attendants and maids are all top notch. Location! Location! Location! Within walking distance of all the sites. The terrace/roof top is a great spot to end the day watching the sunset or view Puget Sound! With all the attractions it is a super quiet and peaceful spot.
Definitely want to have Uber or some other mode of transportation. The opening is on a steep incline and the road is usually closed because you're not supposed to go through for the market area down below. It is close to many, many things that you can go shop or eat or explore. There is a nice view from the rooftop, however, don't let the photos fool you on the website. There is no bar or anything on this rooftop. You bring your own stuff to eat or drink. I think there is a happy hour but it's not advertised. If you need ice and ice buckets, when you exit off the elevator they are in a cabinet.
The hotel was very nice, surprisingly quiet, and has a beautiful private terrace. Prime location for first time visitors! The hotel is under construction but we never heard any noise (the front temporary entrance is on the side street next to the brunch place). The staff were all so kind and welcoming. We were allowed to store our bags after check-out since we had a later flight, which was very helpful! We had a newly renovated city view room, and all updates made it even more luxurious than it seemed online! The black out curtains helped a ton. The room even came with luxury bathrobes! The private terrace showed the Pike Place market, and had the best sunset view. I highly recommend this hotel. Great rates for a great area. Easily walkable and safe at night. Public transportation was very close by, along with a pharmacy, and 5 min walk to the mall.
