Great experience! We will definitely repeat this place. We loved the service and the rooms.
Crazy noise coming from the main road. Having read the reviews in advance we had asked for a room facing on the yard and not on the road and even though they had confirmed that we would get it, they gave us one facing the main road …. The air conditioning was not working at all and they had no extra blankets, we were freezing in the room … I wouldn’t recommend it.. with the same price you can find much better accommodation
Genuinely startled by the overall high score for this “hotel”. We could look past the “quirks” like checking ourselves in, navigating escape room-esque doors to find our place, no staff on site, laughable security (everyone’s keys and names are just left in an open cabinet for self check in) and minimal amenities if the few perks offered were actually present. Our mini fridge did not work and the whole floor smells like feet. My assumption is because these are closed corridors that aren’t supposed to be a hotel, the stagnant air begins to smell of mold. Since there is no staff on site we had to work through WhatsApp to figure out a solution. (There wasn’t one, after an hour someone came to our door to help but by then we were ready to go to dinner and resigned ourselves to simply drinking warm beverages) when I messaged to say we were fine and no additional help was needed this was taken to mean the fridge was actually working and we were obviously wrong. None of this was worth the back and forth especially while on vacation and time is rather precious. We stayed in many comparable priced places across Italy, all of which had better amenities and customer service (free coffee or coffee for one euro, ice/ice buckets available, cups in our room, staff onsite, etc). The location was convenient but not worth the gaslighting from staff, uncomfortable beds, or smell. Credit where it’s due- the WiFi worked well and the AC was working
