Solid last-minute stay with charm and character. A high school buddy of mine came into town with his family, and they managed to grab a room here last minute. Gotta say, I was pleasantly surprised. The place was quiet, well-maintained, and has that “Old Florida meets HGTV makeover” vibe. The buildings are older, but the rooms? Beautifully renovated. I believe some of them are actually available as condos, which makes sense, this place has vacation-home energy. The clubhouse restaurant had live music and pretty decent food. Service, though? Let’s just say... it had potential. Long gaps between drink refills and a few “vanishing condiment” incidents. Not the worst I’ve seen, but certainly not the gold standard of hospitality either. They weren’t rude, just kind of... forgetfully charming. The pool area? Total win. Slides, family-friendly setup, kids loving life, it’s the kind of spot where parents can sip something semi-cold while pretending they're not exhausted. Bottom line: If you're looking for a spot to crash for a long weekend, I’d 100% stay here myself. Just pack some patience with your pool float.

The experience was overall great. The staff is top class. The location is a little dated, but I still really liked the look/feel as their currently updating a lot of the resort. Staff was super kind and enjoyable and helped me get to the wedding I was attending/my room. Wedding was a blast, and the wedding staff deserves 10 stars ! However. The room itself was CLEAN and nice. But it was dated for sure. But the beds were comfy and I slept like a drunk baby lol. The bathroom though was gross. The shower head was disgusting, and the bathtub itself had a hole/crack in it that had been attempted to be fixed/sealed with a sealant, but not painted/glazed back over. I have stayed in close to 500+ different hotels, motels, resorts of all levels and this is definitely a minor issue. But I do think they should do a better job cleaning the shower/tub etc. Otherwise they'd get a 5 star. I would for sure be back, and any wedding they host is set to be great.

(2.5/5) We enjoyed our stay at Innisbrook Spa and Golf Resort over Mother's Day weekend (Because we are great at making the best out of almost anything). Every staff member we encountered was genuinely kind and welcoming, which added a personal touch to the experience. Dinner at Packard's Steakhouse was a standout—the atmosphere was cozy and elegant, and the food was excellent. The salmon and lamb chops were perfectly prepared, and the complimentary bread was a delicious bonus. I also had one of the best espresso martinis I've ever tasted! The rooms are incredibly spacious, which we appreciated, but they are definitely showing their age. The decor gave off a nostalgic, old-Florida vibe—like relaxing in a grandparent’s living room. While charming in its own way, a modern update would go a long way in attracting a broader range of guests. One other small downside: the pool closed before it even got dark, which was a bit disappointing given the beautiful evening weather. Also, when we opened the door to our suite, we were greeted with a huge cockroach crawling from the kitchen pantry🪳😩 Overall, the resort has a lot of charm and potential. Not sure we'll return as it wasn't really "our vibe". With a few updates (especially to the rooms), it could be truly exceptional.
