INNSiDE by Meliá Liverpool

We stayed for one night and had an excellent stay. Were upgraded to a river view which was so lovely. Hotel location is great, out of the way of the busy city but not too much. We were checked in and out by Suraiya, who was so helpful, friendly and welcoming. The only issue we had was the air con in the room would not cool down at all so was quite warm. We didn’t have the chance to mention this due to a busy schedule. All in all would definitely come back. Hotel was lovely, clean, and staff so lovely.

Lovely modern rooms. we had a great view. Bed was really comfortable. Room was incredibly clean. Good facilities like a garment steamer and mini bar with complimentary soft drinks.

Pros Large lobby with a welcome drink. Decent sized room with a great view. The room was quiet & clean apart from a plastic water bottle which was on the floor next to the sink & had been left by the previous guest. No carpet which always makes the room feel cleaner. Mini bar with complimentary soft drinks. Plenty of sockets next to the bed & near a mirror. A large car park nearby which guests can gain a discount for. Cons I received no reply to the two emails I sent asking if the three rooms we had booked could be close together & disappointingly we were on different floors. I asked again when we checked in but was told no. The key fob for your room won't allow you to access other floors so when we wanted to meet in one of the rooms for a drink, we had to all meet in the lobby first then go back to one of the rooms. I appreciate this is a security measure but if my emails had been acknowledged, we could have been on the same floor & avoided this faff. The shower is in the bedroom rather than in a separate bathroom so if you're sharing with a friend, it's not private at all. The air con was not working properly when we stayed (which we reported to reception) so the rooms were extremely hot.
