Not even an exaggeration… this was the best hotel experience I’ve ever had. My wife and our friends said the same thing all weekend. Huge thank you to all the workers that made my birthday weekend super special. From hospitality to customer service to being so friendly and accommodating, thank you!!! Also thank you to Denise and Julio at the front desk for being so kind and making the experience even better!!! We even got out of the elevator and didn’t even have to ask to check in our luggage! I didn’t get the two men’s names but they asked and made the process so smooth!! Definitely coming back!!
What an incredible hotel! We were warmly greeted by the staff and check in was easy. The hotel has a fun artsy vibe with lots of NYC themed art and custom map wallpaper in the elevators. There's a Mexican themed lounge with delicious street tacos (get the al pastor!) There's also a fancy restaurant on site called The Wilson--we didn't dine there but peeked in and it looked great. The hotel room was spotless, the housekeepers did a great job making the rooms tidy and fresh. We liked how the shower had a hand held nozzle, it felt like home. Everything felt modern and recently renovated. The location is fantastic. Quick walk to the train station and in a great area. I always felt safe walking nearby. As a final note, we are so glad we chose this hotel. We got married on our second day visiting and the staff went above and beyond to help us celebrate. 🥳 We can't wait to return!
I have mixed feelings about my stay. On the positive side, the hotel's location is fantastic—just a stone's throw from Times Square, making it easy to explore the area. The room itself was clean and had a cozy, home-like feel, which I appreciated. However, the customer service left much to be desired. The phone in my room seemed to be non-functional; every time I tried to call the reception, I only got a busy tone. This forced me to reach out using my international SIM, which was quite costly. Unfortunately, the staff at the reception were not helpful at all. They came across as indifferent and unmotivated, which made the situation even more frustrating. After making three calls, I was repeatedly transferred to someone who never answered, including their so-called manager. It wasn't until my fourth call that I expressed my frustration, asking why I couldn't speak to someone directly without being disconnected. Overall, the lack of professionalism and responsiveness from the staff was disappointing. I hope they can improve their service in the future.
