We arrived at nearly 3am, checking in took way longer than expected, and they were bristling about my checking in on my wife’s reservation (she was sleeping in the car) The room was fine I suppose, but it had a bit of an odor. The ac was off when we entered and the room was over 80* - after running all night, it still wasn’t “cool”. My wife, myself and my kids all woke with sore throats. On a positive note, it had good water pressure. Next time we visit the area, we’ll be sure to plan better and stay elsewhere.
The only good thing about this hotel is the location as it's about 20 minutes from entrance to the park and 1 hr from the Fresno airport. Also the old lady which I presume is the owner is very polite and nice. As for the bad yes like everyone been saying room are outdated showers old molded and the water knob on some occasions not working. Also might as well skip the breakfast like most people do as there is hardly anything to eat. There is Denise next door which is where everyone is going so that is that. The pool outdoor also appears to be vacant for a reason as I stayed there few nights and never seen anyone using it and it was middle of summer . This is probably the cheapest hotel around when I booked it and the condition reflects it. With all that said I would still stay here as I just need to have somewhere to sleep where there is air conditioning
Lordy all I wanted was some breakfast… Let’s start with service. They were nice, but could not find my reservation for a good half an hour. After we got it figured out all was well. I got to the room and it’s got everything you need, but is definitely a bit dirty. I woke up the next morning and went to get some of their free breakfast and had to audibly laugh. It is the whole reason I booked it. Reading some of the other reviews it seems like many have complained about it and the staff always responded with “we’re so sorry we’ll get right on that!” But they are just saying that to look good online. They continue to do the same thing. White bread, jelly packets, stale Raisin Bran, and old coffee. Overall pretty damn rough experience.
