I booked this hotel for the football pitch and water slides as we have two boys- was slightly apprehensive due to the ratings but I have no idea what these people are complaining about. This hotel has everything for children and it doesn’t ever feel overly busy- the staff are super helpful, rooms are clean and a good size, and kids can’t be bored as there is something for everyone. Lovely little location with restaurants in walking distance but also convenient for day or evening trips to local towns or beaches.

Had a week here and really enjoyed it. The food was great and always seemed fresh in the buffet, the other restaurants you had to book and we did not bother with this. There are also some lovely restaurants on the seafront which are worth trying. The rooms were a good size and cleaned well, my one big issue was there was no physical lock on the door so young children and just pull the handle down and open the door and escape. There is a perfect coffee table in the room that you can wedge the door closed with. The grounds are beautiful and were always clean, we played tennis which there was no charge which was nice. The pools were cold but you do warm up to them, some more shade/trees around the pools would be nice as the heat does come down and the sunbeds are always busy. The indoor pools were nice but could be warmer. The daytime snacks at the bars were nothing special, some warm flatbreads would be nice but the drinks were decent. We went on the train to the local town Binibeca which was nice, there is some areas where you can jump off the rocks and swim so take your shorts. The Wi-Fi was good but you have to provide room number, name and email address, it would be nice if the TVs were on the wireless so you could sign into your own Netflix but I could not get the TV to login to it. The local beach is also beautiful and the sea is so clear, the supermarket on the way to the beach also does some lovely ice cream flavors. There is also a kayak hire place down the road where you can rent one for a good price (50 euros maybe) where you can row over to the Lighthouse island

Really great service and lovely rooms. Great location as well. Highlight was definitely the breakfast entertainment. One (1) pigeon walks around the buffet like he owns the place and terrorizes the staff. I like to call him Gregory. Gregory deserves employee of the month
