Intercity Hotel Shanghai Hongqiao Airport

The hotel staff was really nice and helpful, the rooms are new and clean, and had all the amenities needed for our stay. The breakfast was delicious. It's located 100 m from exit 1 of the metro number 10. Great value for money.

We stayed in this hotel for 3 nights. Don’t book any taxi through reception staff, they do online booking and charge more than double the price. It is located very close to the metro station, just 2 minutes walk. Breakfast is decent, but very less option for vegetarians. Room cleaning and services are done properly. When you book, there is an offer for free drinks from the mini bar on day one. This is absolutely useless. They keep one bottle sprite, soda and a useless beer.

If you notice, the reviews on Trip.com are extremely positive. The hotel is good; however, the way they achieve this is as follows: At checkout, given that they know you booked through Trip.com, they will ask if everything was okay, and they will mention that there is a gift for you. At that point, she asked me for my phone (to check the booking), and without telling me, she posted a review - I assume complimentary for the hotel.
