InterCityHotel Hamburg Hauptbahnhof

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The room, along with the bathroom, was super neat and tidy. The view from my room on the seventh floor was really nice, I could see over the rooftops and at much of the city. It's in a great location, super close to the train station and countless amenities. What really blew me away was the breakfast. I thought I was only going to have it one day, but I got it a second time because I loved it so much. There were so many delicious options. Hot and cold options. And there were also great drinks. The service was very kind and attentive. I had a really good time at this hotel and highly recommend it.

Great location. Check in can get very busy. If you’re counting on the advertised air conditioning in the rooms, don’t. It is next to non existent. Literally no cold air blowing as one would expect when they see a property advertising air conditioning. They let me change rooms hoping for a better situation -/ it was marginally better.

I booked directly on the Website of the hotel and received no confirmation whatsoever... The room was fine. They have an issue with washing windows. Windows are really dirty everywhere. In the morning the water in the shower was barely running. At the reception there is just one person. In the morning it was pretty crowded and waiting time increased. I definitely visited better hotels for 150 Euro per night...
