InterContinental Athénée Palace Bucharest by IHG

We spent the Ambassador weekend promo as platinum member with IHG, to our surprise we got upgraded to a beautiful palace suite. Location is very good. All staffs were very friendly and professional. We paid extra for lounge access and can say its worth the price. Absolutely nothing to say and this hotel lives up to its reputation as 5-stars. 👍🏼

A very nice hotel. Room was average for the class. Restaurant was excellent, and a great bar is right next to the restaurant. The room was updated, but the temperature was a bit warm at night. Also a wedding venue, so on weekends you will hear music till after midnight, so maybe a higher floor. Close to tourist sites. A very nice hand-made gift shop nearby.
