Leaving a review to express my sincere appreciation for the exceptional service I received during my recent stay at International Continental Buckhead, Atlanta. Tony professionalism, courtesy, and efficiency made a significant impact on my overall experience. Your assistance with checking in and out was particularly noteworthy. Your prompt response and resolution of the matter demonstrated a genuine commitment to customer satisfaction. Please know that your efforts have not gone unnoticed. I booked this property for a special anniversary. We had a room and lounge access which was very secluded and relaxing. We were very close to Chastain Park where we attended a concert and the cherry on top was Eric in the lounge who took such great care of everyone and was Johnny on the spot taking drink orders and making sure that everything was stocked up and that everyone was having a pleasant experience. Just a fantastic stay with these little perks.
Edit: I was contacted less than 24 hours after I left this google review. Our stay in general was very nice. The hotel staff was kind and helpful. The location is great and walkable to many things. The restaurant and bar staff was amazing. I think if you are going to be a 5 star hotel, you need a better process or direct line for contacting the actual hotel for guest issues. We stayed at the Intercontinental for a week. There were many good things about it, however it was VASTLY overshadowed by the issues I have had since checking out. There were almost $200 of charges on my room that I was not supposed to be charged for and they will not address it or call me back. I have called 4x. Each time I’m routed to a foreign call center. I have asked to be connected to someone in the actual hotel. I’ve asked for a manager and told they aren’t available. I’ve been told twice they will call me back and no one ever has. At this point I will just dispute it with my credit card, but this is NOT the service that one would expect from a 5 star hotel. I’m not asking for much, literally just to talk to someone at the hotel and not be double charged for things included in my rate. I would not recommend staying here if you value service.
