I had an exceptional stay at the InterContinental Estoril. From the moment I arrived, the service was impeccable—attentive, professional, and warm. The hotel’s location right by the ocean provides stunning views, and the atmosphere is both elegant and relaxed. The rooms are spacious, modern, and well-appointed, with comfortable beds and balconies that offer breathtaking sea views. The attention to detail in the design and amenities made for a luxurious experience. The food & beverage offerings were top-notch. Breakfast had a fantastic selection of fresh, high-quality ingredients, and the on-site restaurant served delicious, well-executed dishes. Cocktails at the bar, enjoyed with an ocean view, were a highlight. The spa & pool area provided a perfect spot to unwind, with a serene ambiance and excellent facilities. The outdoor pool overlooking the Atlantic was especially stunning. Overall, this hotel embodies understated luxury with a personal touch. Whether for a relaxing getaway or a business trip, the InterContinental Estoril delivers an exceptional experience. Highly recommended!
It's an understatement to say that this place is amazing. The staff is incredibly friendly and goes out of their way to take care of you. The wifi is excellent, the rooms are clean, beautiful and spacious. The outdoor pool is not heated, but the beach is a 5 minute walk so who cares. We had a small issue with our first room where our shower wasn't properly sealed and water leaked, making our bathroom floor very slippery. For a night it would be fine, but we were there for several days so we told the staff about it. Within 10 minutes, maintenance was in our room trying to fix it. They didn't have the right water seal, so the hotel upgraded our room and offered to move all of our belongings for us so that we didn't need to do it ourselves. This shows how willing they are to make things right when something goes wrong...the ultimate sign of real customer service. For an extra touch, they gave a turtle stuffy to my daughter for the inconvenience. They didn't have to do this, switching our room quickly was enough in my books, but she absolutely loves this turtle and she'll never forget our trip because of it. The breakfast is outstanding. I can't believe some people complain about it. Fresh fruit, actual squeezed juice, lots of bread options, veggie dishes, eggs, sausage, potatoes, cheese, meat, etc. The coffee is served to you, but it's worth the wait. You get to eat breakfast while looking at the ocean...life doesn't get much better. My poor Nissan Juke rental felt a little out of place next to the Ferraris in the parking garage, but their staff made me feel like I belonged regardless. In short, this is one of the top 3 places I've ever stayed in the entire world. I am beyond impressed with their hospitality.
