InterContinental Chongqing Raffles City by IHG

I have stayed at many IHG hotels around the world, and this is one of the nicest that I have stayed at. Firstly, the building is really cool looking from an architectural perspective. Also, the staff were all so friendly...at check-in, in the ClubLounge, at breakfast, and in the gym. The rooms were very modern, spacious, and clean with amazing views. The bathroom was also very modern and spacious too. The ClubLounge was very nice with a great selection of foods, beers, and liquors. The gym was modern with enough equipment for working out. And the breakfast was vast with a great selection of both Chinese and western foods.

I would like to compliment the room keeper for my room ，Ms 小张 for her good service . She really kept the room tidy and is very friendly . I will come back to the hotel again .

This review was about Shua, their rooftop dining and bar. Happened that we came back late after a whole day of sightseeing and we would like something non spicy or numbing. The nearby mall had already closed and the only alternative was Shua. But by this time, they were only left with finger food. We ordered a variety of finger food and they were delicious! For me the Jamon Iberico was the star dish. It was oily and not dry, the best version I’ve tried. The ham croquette was well done too. The fillings were piping hot. Highly recommended. I would like to try their food given the opportunity.
