InterContinental Doha The City by IHG

We recently stayed at the Intercontinental Doha Residences, and I can confidently say it was one of the best hotel experiences we've ever had. What made it exceptional was the outstanding customer service, especially from a staff member named Leon. Leon went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. Even though we hadn’t mentioned anything about it, he surprised my daughter with a beautiful birthday cake, and his attention to detail was truly remarkable. It’s rare to find someone so dedicated to making guests feel special, and Leon’s thoughtfulness left a lasting impression on us. Aside from the incredible service, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Doha Residences. The amenities were top-notch, and the breakfast spread was absolutely delicious. We also loved that the residences were not crowded, offering a peaceful and private environment. The fact that the residences are separate from the hotel added to the exclusivity of our experience. The pool, in my opinion, was even better than the hotel’s, and the privacy on the beach was an added bonus. This was, without a doubt, the best customer service we've received not only in Doha but everywhere we’ve stayed. We travel frequently and have stayed at many hotels, but the level of care we experienced here surpassed all expectations. The Intercontinental Doha Residences has earned our highest recommendation, and we will certainly be back. Thank you, Leon, for making our stay unforgettable.

We stayed for 4 nights in one bedroom suite. The suite is spacious and can accommodate 2 adults and 2 kids. The residences have a private beach and pools and it separated from the main hotel beach which is a Plus as it’s not crowded at all. You can still access the main hotel beach where we enjoyed free activities such as kayak boat rides ( only during specific time of the day) . The breakfast is served in the main hotel , but it’s just 5-min walk from the residences or you can request a buggy ride. The breakfast was offered a great variety The only hiccup was during the check in which we had to receive our room a bit late but they offered us late check out as a compensation. They also gave us a special treat ( cake and fruits) as we were celebrating our anniversary. All in all , it was a memorable and enjoyable experience and I may definitely come back again.

The location is super cool! 🏖️ They have their own private beach, which is isolated from the intercontinental hotel beach (which is quite busy). For breakfast, you should take a buggy and go to the intercontinental hotel (which is fine). Overall, breakfast was good. 👍🏼 For kids, I would say there aren't a lot of activities. There's one small kids' room, and in the pool, there's nothing for kids to enjoy except swimming. 🏊‍♀️ The rooms are a bit old, but it's fine since it's a residence. The kitchen is fully equipped with an oven, microwave, dishes, and a washing machine. The balcony view is quite good. 🌇 There are no parking challenges.
