It is in Shenzhen, Luohu, just across the street from the Hong Kong border with mainland China. It used to be the Best Western but now called Felicity Hotel. Front desk is friendly and English speaking.

We really enjoyed the stay at this hotel. Room has nice view and service is good. Specially, the service extended to the manager who was on duty when we checked in on November 22nd around 4pm. He is knowledgeable to provide additional information for our group to spent time in Guangzhou. I forgot his name though since we stay a dozen of hotels during our trip.

Stylish Comfort in the Heart of Guangzhou My recent stay at the InterContinental Guangzhou was truly enjoyable and lived up to the brand’s reputation for luxury and comfort. The hotel’s modern architecture and beautifully designed interiors immediately impressed me. The room was elegant, spacious, and equipped with everything I needed for a relaxing and productive stay. Service throughout the hotel was excellent—staff were attentive, courteous, and always ready to help. The location is also a strong advantage, offering easy access to major business areas and city attractions. Plus it’s close to Canton Fair exhibition center. While the overall experience was wonderful, I felt that the food options—though decent—could be more diverse, especially for international guests. A few more variety-rich or themed dining options would elevate the experience even further. That said, I would not hesitate to stay here again and highly recommend it to both business and leisure travelers visiting Guangzhou.
