InterContinental Manila

Really great hotel that I am glad I got to stay in one month prior to being closed down forever (at least at this specific address, for now). Although the hotel is quite old and the rooms are a bit worn out, the service and other amenities were top notch. The regular breakfast at the Jeepney every morning was much better than the IHG club member's breakfast on the 14th floor. The staff was amazing - very friendly, very courteous, and willing to please. If another Intercontinental opens in Makati or Manila in the near future I will be sure to stay there again.

Their quality and facilities are good. It's just that I'm having doubts about their service. I was watching the news one evening and a club in Intercon rejected a pair of transgender persons from the bar. To be fair, there was a signage at the front of the establishment, though, still with legal papers, the pair should not have been vetoed off the premises. I still think their old class treatment of free sexuality is very unappealing. If I went there, I'd probably not be booted off, though I give off bi-vibes.

The most annoying hotel we have ever been, stop ringing our door bells and do not open the door unless the guests said so. The rests of the teams were great so that's the only thing preventing this from a one star review.
