InterContinental Minneapolis St. Paul Airport by IHG

I love coming to this hotel. Everything is always very clean and immaculate. The front desk is warm and inviting and are always kind and friendly. I love the little eatery right behind the front desk with fresh pastries, and different types of coffee and tea. Both restaurants inside have extremely delicious food. The interior looks beautiful. The room is very fresh well decorated and spotless. They have very comfortable beds. I have no problem falling asleep fast. You don’t really hear anything from the airport, but it sure is fun to look out the window and watch the planes come in and land, and also takeoff and fly out. Sometimes I stay here just to watch the planes and have a good bite to eat in the evening. It is very relaxing.

Nice to be back at this location. You're so close to the planes---you can hand a cup of coffee to the pilot. When they're handing out peanuts, they throw you a bag. Room is comfy and clean, and check-in was a breeze. Can't wait to come back.

The rooms are clean, modern and spacious. That's where the positives of my stay ended. The receptionist was incredibly rude when asking if I could get a ride in the shuttle back to the hotel after dropping a rental car (I was on crutches). Fully refused and told me to walk back because it "isn't that far". Later in the night I called to see if I could get an iron brought up to the room to get my clothes ready for the next day and she said they couldn't, no further explanation. In no world should this hotel be rated any higher than a 3 star. It is clean and modern but the staff is miserable and so very difficult to deal with. I will do anything possible to avoid staying at this location again.
