Great stay! There are plenty of activities for kids and walking trails around the hotel. I will definitely be back. I dont speak Chinese but was able to get around fine.

I had a fantastic time at Thousand Island Hotel. The resort is practically a destination in itself, with plenty of things to do and see in the surrounding area. My wife and I rented bikes and explored the resort and even rode to a nearby lighthouse. The breakfast at the hotel was excellent, with a wide variety of Western and Chinese options. Unfortunately, the room we stayed in had a lingering smoke smell from a previous guest, which was a bit disappointing. However, it seemed that there wasn't much that could be done about it at the time. There are other restaurants about a 5-minute walk away from the restaurant which was where we had several lunches and dinners. They are a bit more reasonably priced with different cuisine options.

Email complaints is useless, so I need to review on google map instead. I checked in InterContinental one thousand island lake resort on today 2023.06.02 with an infant in room 382. Since we check in for a family room, it already had a well-provided crib around the king bed. When we were watching TV, my baby, who was less than two years old, fell out of bed and had obvious bruises on her head due to the improper and unstable girth of the bed rail. I immediately reported to the guest service and someone came to check. But the reply is unacceptable for me, this is what he said “because the bed circumference only has one side, it is not securely anchored.”First, if you cannot guarantee the safety of the bed rail, as a customer, I would prefer you not to do it, rather than to give us with such a big safety risk. Second, if you know that only one side of the bed rail cannot be securely anchored. why are you providing this bed rail? Apart from my baby falling off the bed, the guest room also has other safety concerns, such as toilet doors that don't close smoothly, the child can be easily pinch their hands.
