InterContinental Paris Le Grand by IHG

I loved this hotel for many reasons. It is beautifully maintained, has a great breakfast buffet and restaurant for lunch or dinner. The room was comfortable, clean and safe. I traveled with a friend so we got the slightly larger room with twin beds. Beds were comfortable and large enough for an adult with comfortable mattress and pillows. There are somethings that take a little getting use to (like the smaller size showers and the light switch controls ) but that didn't really spoil the experience. The room service was very responsive to our need for a larger mirror in the room, towels etc, but if you need a wake up call better think twice, we never got ours. Overall the stay was excellent, the concierge was very helpful, the reception courteous and Paris Intercontinental Le Gran lived up to its reputation it was Gran!

First class accommodation and experience. Staff - professional and made you feel special. Plush room and very romantic settings. Breakfast was one of the better ones I have experienced. Delicious fruits, divine omelettes, extensive south east Asian offerings and much more. The lounge was outstanding, LP on tap and gourmet food options. My only (minor) criticisms is that the gym could be bigger and our room had a slightly strange damp smell. Do not let these comments put you off however - this is a truly outstanding hotel.

A top tier hotel with well appointed rooms. The reception staff is very friendly and professional. Enjoyed our stay. The hotel is also very central and within walking distance to most restaurants and shops. A great hotel. A big thank you to the very active and visible concierge who collect bags on arrival. This team runs like a well oiled machine. Great value for your money. Traditional hotel so you know what to expect, exceptional service throughout.
