From the moment I pulled up to the InterContinental San Antonio Riverwalk, I was greeted with a warm smile and exceptional professionalism by Jose, one of the valet attendants. He was not only courteous and efficient, but went out of his way to make sure I felt welcomed and taken care of. Jose handled my vehicle with great care, offered helpful tips about local spots along the Riverwalk, and even remembered me by name throughout my stay. His attitude was genuinely kind and service-focused — a perfect reflection of the hotel's overall standard of hospitality. It’s rare to encounter service that leaves such a lasting impression, but Jose’s attention to detail and commitment to guest satisfaction truly stood out. He’s a valuable asset to the InterContinental team and made my stay even more enjoyable. Highly recommend staying here — and if you’re lucky, Jose will be the first person you meet!

San Antonio is always a special experience! This hotel is located on the iconic river walk and is a beautiful and super comfortable venue to stay and attend a conference. The customer service was outstanding! They missed no opportunity to help us and to make us welcome.

Nice hotel. Location is pretty good with direct access down to the Riverwalk and only a short walk to all the main restaurants and entertainment area. The check-in experience was great and the front desk agent was very welcoming, professional and informative. I started calling for room service at about 9:15 p.m. and it was not closing until 10:00. Nobody answered the phone. Front desk picked up and transferred me all around. I was left on hold, transferred multiple times and by the time someone at the restaurant picked up, I was notified that there was no one to bring anything up to the room and that I could come down if I wanted to get something. I asked to speak to a manager and the same person came back on the phone and offered me a food and beverage credit- great way to say you have no time for guests, are not trying to recover from the lack of service and don't care about terrible experiences. With my reservation, I already had a $60 food credit. Huge lack of care for service and experience. There are equal caliber hotels along the Riverwalk that I would recommend versus staying here.
