InterContinental Shenzhen by IHG

I'd highly recommend the InterContinental Shenzhen, location is prefect, 1-minute walk to the subway, rooms are spacious and clean, the free indoor and outdoor swimming area are great, it was so much fun to bring the kids. The package includes playhouse tickets, buffet breakfast and buffet dinner, which is very family-friendly, especially our large group (10 families on this trip). Staffs went above and beyond, arrange early check-in and late check-out, highly appreciated to guest service manager - Ms. Dafne for arrangement. We will definitely stay this hotel again.

Wonderful hotel with great customer service. Hotel makes an effort to reach out to you ahead of time to ensure your room needs and preference. The hotel has a warm Spanish theme which might feel dated to some, but I prefer this over a colder and newer design. Some of the staff dress as matadors, which help adds to the Spanish ambiance in the middle of Shenzen. Breakfast Buffet has one of the best pastries in my life. You actually see staff make the pastries, so you are able to grab fresh ones readily. The oyster omlette is also very good. Location is very convenient as it is near an amusement park and shopping plaza. A great hotel for people with children.

Way below other intercontinentals that I visited before, esp service and accomadations. Annual reward night given by IHG as platinum member, there is even no complimentary breakfast, need to pay add'l to have breakfast, such a joke.
