Thoughtful and considerate customer care, before check-in, the hotel guest relations department was actively contacted, enthusiastically and carefully enquired and helped to arrange the preferred room. When checking in at the front desk, the receptionist worked professionally and skilfullyd with efficiency and enthusiasm. Considered the special circumstances of the guests and made arrangements beyond satisfactory. Solved my practical anxieties and problems. The Intercontinental staff are of a high calibre and standard. The staff in this lounge and restaurant are also very attentive and welcoming. We actively enquired about customers' preferences and responded and adjusted the dishes quickly! Once again, the Intercontinental standard and brand was demonstrated. The three days sui ran short. But the InterContinental Shijiazhuang and staff gave w m the whole family attentive, warm and superb standards of service. Looking forward to the next stay! Thank you kind Regards， WEI.

Lovely hotel. The A/C doesn’t work during the winter like most of the hotels in China. If you are like me and like your room cold then that might be an issue although you could open you window. The issue is that there is always honking horns due to an ill-conceived merge in the highway located right outside my window. The view was beautiful though. I wish there was an outlet close to the bed, but it did have the typical IHG 4 USB charging station. I wish I could give it 3.5 stars. But the A/C and the noise were the key aspects holding me back from the full 4 stars. They did have Coke Zero :) (which isn’t Diet Coke, but close enough.).
