InterContinental Suites Hotel Cleveland by IHG

Really enjoyed this hotel. It was a great place to return to after a few rough days at the Cleveland Clinic. The staff was extremely accommodating and the room was exactly what we were looking for. The restaurant had great food as well. Want to give a special shout out to Chris at the front desk for going above and beyond in making sure we were comfortable and had the best experience possible. Highly recommend.

We spent one night at Intercontinental Suites so we could go to an appointment at Cleveland Clinic. I Googled hotels on Cleveland Clinic campus and chose this one. It was essentially the same price as the Holiday Inn next door. Very nice hotel, staff is terrific. It’s geared to those traveling to the clinic. They offer a free shuttle service to and from the campus (but so do other hotels). Note that not every room is a suite. We didn’t have a suite, but we did have a nice room. Very comfortable, clean, nicely appointed; the bed was wonderful! We ate dinner and then breakfast at their on-site restaurant. It was very, very good. I went for a walk around the block after dinner (still light out), and it felt perfectly safe. The staff were uniformly helpful, welcoming, and friendly. We stowed our bags with the bellman the next morning; we checked out to go to our appointment. We were told we could leave our car in valet parking until our appointment was completed. The free shuttle took us to and from our appointment. Naturally, none of this comes cheap. But it can be a tense time going for medical appointments, and it was so helpful to have many of the minor worries taken care of by the Intercontinental Suites Hotel.

The front desk staff here will really go above and beyond to take care of your needs and ensure you're as comfortable and satisfied as possible. Tabitha is especially helpful. However, besides the front desk staff the rest of the hotel was very disappointing. One of the valet drivers was very rude, their restaurant service is extremely slow and the food isn't well-cooked, and our room was not in the best condition as there were a few items broken or dysfunctional. We checked out the Holiday Inn next door and it was 10x better - much newer and cheaper. You're better off saving your money and staying at a nicer room at the Holiday Inn next door.
