InterContinental Tokyo Bay by IHG

The Intercontinental Hotel is an absolute gem, located just outside the hustle and bustle of Tokyo yet within a short walk to the subway and train station. We loved the welcoming atmosphere and the well-organized hospitality provided by the hotel. The property is well-maintained, with comfortable beds, and we appreciated the screens that allowed us to darken our room perfectly. A huge shoutout goes to the breakfast routine. The staff does an amazing job of serving warm croissants and fresh juice right at your table. They clean the tables promptly, ensuring there's always a seat available for you. During our four-night stay, we enjoyed breakfast at different times and never had to wait for a seat. Additionally, the price-to-quality ratio is excellent. Thank you, Intercontinental, for providing a perfect start to our trip!

We booked three rooms and stayed for five nights. The hotel is situated in a very quiet area with stunning views of the bay, especially at night time when the Rainbow bridge comes alive with different colours. The rooms were clean and spacious with comfortable beds and big cosy pillows. The bathrooms had a bath tub and shower with all the usual amenities. There’s also a stocked mini bar fridge. The hotel provided adapters to charge our phones and watches. Breakfast was great, the bread is the best and the coffee too good. There was always ample seating and we never had to wait in line to be seated no matter the time we went. We had dinner at the French restaurant within the hotel for my birthday and we received absolutely awesome service and the food was delicious too. The staff were helpful and very polite.

Bar tenders said a glass of juice for my child was on the house and then charged me for it. Overall help from the staff was less than satisfactory, especially for a distinguished IHG member. They did however did a nice job cleaning the room. Location was also out of they way. For those looking for a top tier hotel I would recommend searching elsewhere.
